This cosy panoramic town house has just been completely renewed , fully equipped and furnished to high standards .It consists of a spacious living room , delicious kitchenette , fireplace area , open loft with double bedroom , lovely bathroom with hydromassage shower and a storage . Under the loft , a comfortable sofa bed , convertible into two single beds or one double , provides extra sleeping for a total number of 4 people in party.
Air conditioning, washing machine, barbecue , outside pergola and tiled table for " al fresco"dining , small appliances in the kitchen, satellite TV are facilities we offer.
The garden is opposite the house , on the other side of the street , in a a quiet area although it’s in the heart of the town, at stone throw from stores and restaurants and surrounded by a friendly neighbourhood.
Mattinata is a nice small town enclosed by a range of mountains. It spreads over two hills in its butterfly shape . The town stretches towards the sea in a large plain rich in varied vegetation. The beach of Mattinata is typical with its round and polychrome shingle. The coast is very beautiful: white cliffs falling sheer into the sea , small shores sea-caves ; among these the “Bell cave”, that is called the Pantheon of Gargano, and the striking Zagare bay, well-known for its rocks coming out from the waters. On the top of the mountain Monte Saraceno, 3 km far from the town centre , the excavations have brought to light a necropolis of more than 400 tombs, dated back to the VII – VI cent. B.C.. The tomb equipments are kept in the Town Museum of Mattinata. The archeological and ethnographic collection of the “chemist” Dr. Matteo Sansone is also to visit. In the chemist’s shop are kept more than 4000 finds of the history of Gargano. On the top of the Sacro Mount, the ruins of the Benedictine abbey of the Holy Trinity are to be visited as well.
